Florida teen beating? Teens tried as adults?

1. The victim did not ask for it although she said things on Myspace: NO1 deserves that. What if they HAD accidentally killed her?





2. The girls PLANNED it.: Premeditated.





One of the girls is only 15 but ALL who participated should get a HARSH punishment NOT necesarily life: only for the sole reason that prisons are already overcrowded.


Maybe 20 years?





Make other teens think too about doing something stupid just to get famous w/o realizing they are messing up their futures? Sorry if I ranted but IDK if this story is troubling me more than the one about the women/children from the polygamist compound in TX.

i absolutley think that they should get tried as adults becuse they are 6 little pieces of ****. they could of killed the person over what saying something on my space now come on that is Ridiculous how would they have liked it if they were token to the side and got there asses kicked by six other huge girls and no one stop it.

Those who planned %26amp; physically participated... try as adults... 3 yrs min. w/ Federal time. Federal prison allows those who THINK they are hard to be recalibrated. They will learn what the real meaning of the words "beat down". You put them in there longer, then they will become their enviroment.





Those who stood around %26amp; didn't stop it. 1 yr. in minimum security. 1 year allows someone to think about the time that is gone that cannot be replaced.





IF they would have killed her... life w/o parole.





BUT in my humble opinion, the REAL punishment for these teens should be CANING, like is done in Singapore. BUT America doesn't have the stomach for it.
Reply:They should get a hard punishment even thought they are still young they should have known bettter. I also think they are to young to get life in prison they are still kinda young and havent got to live their lives. They still need to learn a lesson thought !

Reply:I think people, everyone regardless of age, should be accountable for their actions. It's time that we as a country hold everyone responsible for what they do. If they do damage that cost to repair, and their under age, let the parents pay, and see how quick they will start watching their out of control kids. If they take a life, they should forfeit a life, with only one appeal. Maybe these girls should be taken out and beaten, like the beating they gave out.
