How many teens have used shrooms?

I have project in health on mushrooms, and one of the questions we have to answer is how many teens use this drug(mushrooms)?

please list any referances or how many teens you think use magic mushrooms?

How many teens have used shrooms?
I've done them twice.

I know almost no people who do them on a regular basis. I'm sure if I asked around I could find a few people who have done them, but only once or twice. I'm guessing maybe around 8% of my grade (11) has tried them and 1% or less use them frequently.

Hope that helped!
Reply:I think that all the teens that believe in magic use them. I would take A guess and say at least 30%
Reply:I never have, but I have a friend who has and she did it once with at least 3 others.
Reply:magic mushrooms (toad stools) have the chemical psilocybin. psilocybin is a hallucinogenic alkaloid. i've heard the "safe" ones grow in cow pies, usually after a heavy rain. i've also heard you should be cautious. it is a poison.-blurey
Reply:I sure have many times.

It is a mild hallucinating drug which is not physically addicting.

Shrooms are not as popular as weed.

Shrooms can gives you a mind trip, which alters your thinking and the ways you view things depending on how much you eat.

Trips occur, there is good trips and bad trips. The trip is different every time, and it varies depending on where you are, who you are with, and most importantly WHAT TYPE OF MOOD YOU ARE IN.

Do not take shrooms with many people you don't trust or don't feel comfortable with, or you will have a extremely bad scary trip that can cause you to have very bad affects.

Good trips can be as important as reading the bible over and over again, and things you cannot describe.

They are NOT addicting.
Reply:Out of my 10 closest friends, 1 has done shrooms...though my crowd is a little 'fast' (ie. prone to doing drugs), so that might not be normal.

But officially: ""Surveys among school students (15–16 years) show that prevalence estimates on the use of magic mushrooms in the EU are considerably lower than those for cannabis, but are similar to those recorded for ecstasy. Ever-use ranges from less than 1% to 8% for both ecstasy and magic mushrooms, although more typically prevalence lies between 1% and 3%. Use of magic mushrooms is usually experimental, with regular or continued use relatively rare."

That's in Europe...I assume it's about the same in the U.S.
Reply:lol not sure not very many...i would like to expeirment with them..atleast once
