Reply:I'd go with the new 3rd generation iPod nano. They are a little spendy but as a main present they aren't that bad. They come in all different colors and the new one also has a video feature so you can download movies and shows now and stuff.





If you are going to go with a mobile phone, if your teen doesn't have one already x] I would eiether go with a prepaid for the first 6 months so that you get an idea of how many minutes they need and how fast they run out and eiether keep them on prepaid or switch to a plan. T-Mobile is good and phones are of decent quality and Verizon has great phones but is a bit on the pricey side.


As far as prepaid goes I would go with T-Mobile to go as opposed to Tracfone, they are a rip off.





Oh, the iPhone is like $400...
