i want to meet this guy i know, but my mum being the type of mum she is would say no,only because she trying to protect me which i'm thankful for but sometimes can get annoying...but if i said to her "this lad asked if i want to meet in town...but i wouldn't think you'd agree because you don't know him and thats why i want you to come and meet him to see what you think about him." do you think this is a good thing to do???...and do you think she'd agree???...because i know for sure she would rather me do that than meet him behind her back...i'm 14 hes 15... and i know he isn't lying about his age...so i want teens (lads and girls) and parents of teens to answer please!!!!!!!

Yes introduce this guy to your mom it could help alot if not, then you just need to respect your moms decision.

Reply:Honestly, it sounds like a great idea. If your mom feels like you are including her, she may go along with it. HOWEVER, if she meets him and says NO, you have to be prepared to accept that. If you argue with this decision, you lose all of the maturity you have shown up to this point. Its a gamble. If he's a nice guy, and she can see it, it will work out. If she smells a rat, you'll need to take the loss and move on.

im 14 too and well even when u think u know a guy, they can some times surprise you trust me on this


i thought i knew this guy very well i knew him for a few years turns out he was completly diffrent than i thought he was even though we hun out a lot. but once u datee them in stuff,
