1) I'm 40+. 2) yes, teenagers should be held accountable. 3) all of the above and anything else that is against the law (although I have some issues with a 17 year old being convicted for sex with a 15 year old; don't think that should be held to the standard that it would be for a 25 yr. old with a 15 yr. old); 4) sentencing should be the same as for adults.

Teens should never *automatically* be tried as an adult. There can, and often are, extenuating circumstances.





That kid you mentioned, unless he has a mental disorder, should be tried as an adult.

4.Death sentence, if appropriate. By the time someone hits teenage years, they know right from wrong. I think this wouldn't apply for a mentally challenged teenager(retardation), as they have troubles comprehending consequenses and permanancy of their actions.
