Recommendations for Teens?

I have a list of books I recommend for teens -

What books should I add to my list?

Are there any books I should delete from my list and WHY?

Are there any comments you wish to make about any of the books on my list?

Please note that I have separate lists for Fantasy, Science Fiction, Mysteries, Classics, and Christian Fiction. - This list is primarily recent books which are particularly popular with teens.

Reply:i think you have done excetionaly well. this seems to have been well research and the layout is great. hope you dont mind but i think you should also add the highway code book, and a learning to drive book, because these are also interesting books for teenagers who are thinking about when they are old enough to drive. hope i didn't offend you, because none intended. but well done to you.
Reply:i dont think you should delete any, they all are good (the ones i have read) and i have heard good things about the ones that i have not read.

you should probably add the inheritance cycle to your list; eragon and eldest by christopher paolini (the third book in the 4 part series comes out in september.)

comments? yes! i love love love love love love love LOVE twilight!!!
Reply:I haven't read all the books on the list but the books I have read that are on there deserve their spot there ;)

You should add the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson. AMAZING series.

So far there are 4 books in the series but I hear J. Patterson is working on the 5th.
Reply:I'm a 15 year old male and I just finished "In Cold Blood" by Truman Capote and it was the only truly good book I think I've ever read. It is the only novel that I have actually read because I wanted to (technically I HAD to for a report, but I enjoyed the time I spent reading it). I think any teenager would love this book, especially other males.
Reply:Ellen Hopkins's books resemble poems that all relate into one story.

The Eragon, Looking Glass Wars, and Cornelia Funke's books are decent for fantasy.

I think it's a good list. Good luck! ^^
Reply:I love all of Meg Cabot and Sophie Kinsella's books. I am in the process of reading Emily Giffins books now. They are really great authors.
