Two teens, both male, age 16 will be hanged in Gaborone, Botswana's capital.

Judge Mbane Ahmed Sajif-Garim II sentenced them to death for theft of pigs and the alleged murder of pigs' owner.

President Ian Khama has said that he can't stop this executions. What do you think about this?? two teens will be hanged tomorrow at 6 AM!

Greetings and sorry my english!!

Tomorrow two teens will be hanged in Botswana, what to do!?
If they were tried and found guilty of murder in a court of law, there is really nothing left to do but pray for their souls...
Reply:What are you talking about?????????? Stop printing lies about my country.

Apologies or i will report you for abuse.
Reply:Sure wish America was still like that.
Reply:its called punishment.

its there laws, would anyone in botswana give a **** if it was going to happen to someone over here......i very much doubt it
Reply:Don't do the crime, if you can't do the time...
Reply:It the victim is resurrected before 6 am then he should he should forgive them to save them the long drop. if the victim is not resurrected bye bye two botswana villians.

would you say the same if the victim was your father, I doubt it let them swing
Reply:This is a violation of human rights law.

Unfortunately it is very late to do any thing about this.

I recommend that you contact the international news media.

Radio Netherlands is very good. I have appeared as a guest on their station. They broadcast all over Europe

If you can get a call out to Radio Netherlands that would be the best place to start.

You can do that today.

Just google radio netherlands for their contact information.
Reply:don't do the crime if you can't do the time they say. perhaps we should think of the victim.
Reply:If they murdered the owner of the pigs and it was a fair trial then there is little anybody can do. A lot of people in the UK would like to see the death penalty returned, I am not one of them.
Reply:If they were found guilty by a fair trial by jury, then there isn't really anything to do. Unless they appeal for another trial in court. I don't know how the legal system works. I know that in some places, they have to be over 18 years of age in order to be executed. So make sure that the Judge understands that the two teens are 16.

Make sure you don't get into trouble. You might be suspected of helping them and, god forbid, you might receive punishment.

Read up on the constitution (or equivalent) and see if any lawyers can help.

Contact the Media and make sure they know where so they can get extensive coverage. Even try contacting the American Media. This will educate all the people of what is going on. Sometimes they will stop because too much people will know, most likely if foreign countries get involved.

Edit: I agree, try Amnesty International.

Reply:If they are guilty of the charges, I support the execution.
Reply:Pity they do not bring hanging back over here!
Reply:Stealing is a crime. While I agree that hanging is a brutal punishment, but if they are in fact guilty, and if they did actually kill the owner, then the punishment is a just one. While the government there may not view the accused as innocent until proven guilty as we do in America, if the crime has been committed, then the guilty do deserve what they get. No population should have to support those that kill to get what they want. If the boys were hungry enough to kill for food, perhaps some mediation should be considered. This is a point that I would agree to. That said, short of changing the government very quickly, or a rescue of the 2 boys, it looks like the 2 boys are going to die for the crime committed. The only possible intervention that I can think of is Amnesty International. Beyond that, there isn't a whole lot that can be done for them.
Reply:Nothing. IT's their culture and it is wrong to preach down to them. Amensty international and other such groups are just racist organizations who imposes Western culture onto non-Western nations in the guise of human rights. No culture is perfect, but they need to evolve at their own pace. History has shown that interferring with a foreign culture causes more disasters than it solves.

Let me pout it this way. Hillary CLinton went to China to preach equal rights for females. Her speach offended the muslim communities( It is believed she targetted Muslims) and caused a right. If we tell countries how to behave we are basically calling them inferior and they will become more resistant and dig their heels down. THey need to learn on their own and not for us to judge.

Remember, to judge another culture is cultural racism. We are only allowed to judge other culture who enter our community.
Reply:All I have to say is if there was evidence that they killed the owner, then it's justice.
Reply:an eye for an eye

a life for a life

people are not usually hanged for alleged murder

if they were found guilty hang them high.
Reply:eish like everyone said pray... i still say no men has tha right to kill no men.. i shall pray for them Jah bless them

Reply:its wrong they shouldn't be hanged for that but it looks like they will . i don't think you could do any thin 2 help just pray for them - if your religious
