Why dont teens talk to teens online.?

teens 15-18 only

Why dont teens talk to teens online.?
I am a teen and I don't because most of those "teens" are actually 45 year old rapists.

Reply:wut do u mean? i mean yeah im 15 and i mostly talk to my teen friends on facebook, a site like myspace but much safer and for high schools and colleges. so yeah, if u mean that i am not oftentimes on my aim account. i think its just more convenient for me to be on facebook. but thats just me. i also use a cell phone to txt message frequently

Reply:because they are too busy talking to them outside of the internet. it is normal for teens to talk in their social rings outside the web. and with the web being so dangerious now a days i dont blaim them. you may not even be talking to a teen. also it is sometimes different talking to other teens online then it is in person when u are used to talking outside of the internet life.
