Are teens in the UK wild?

I don't really know another word for it. Wild, mis-behaved, naughty...?


I'm just wondering if UK teens smoke, drink, and party a lot. It seems like they go out at night heaps. I know it happens everywhere but is it true that teens from the UK do it most?


I'm from Australia so I don't really know. I guess it just seems like in the media UK people tend to be like that I suppose. Can someone just clear this up for me?

Well, from what I understand, teenagers from the United Kingdom, begin having intercourse at a much younger age than any other country. The AIDs rate has rapidly increased, and to reduce it, the UK Government has made it illegal for anyone under the age of 16 to have intercourse.





As for the drinkig and smoking, that happens in any country; they are common in both the United States as well as the United Kingdom. However, the United States has strict rules, which aid in the prevention of teenage drinking. Such strict rules include the checking of IDs at bars and mini-marts which sell alcohol. Another, is the removal of driving priviledges of teenagers who have been arrested for drinking under the influence. Community services and ceminars also help the troubled teen understand why under-age drinking is harmful to their mind and body.








The United Kingdom, unfortunately is not as strict on under-age drinking and smoking, but the Government is now trying to instill some laws which prevent teenagers from obtaining alcohol.
