Teens nowadays?

is it just me or does it seem everything is about sex?


i am 16 %26amp; a virgin, but my best friends have all lost theirs already. we are ALL in honors and ap classes, good kids, dont do drugs, etc. but im the only virgin on my group. one of my friends had friends-with- benifits. and another one had sex after they'd been going out for THREE weeks. and there are girls everyday popping up pregnant.


is it just me or does everyone only think about sex nowdays?


i honestly dont, and i plan on staying a virgin till i find the right guy and im at LEAST engaged or something.


one of my friends said its not even a big deal. is it not or am i just over exaggerating?


im acctually kinda scared to lose it, i dont know what to do. is this normal? and why are many teens nowdays so easy!? NOT all, just many. even the "good" ones that are in all AP classes, really involved in school, etc.

Blame the media. They are giving us the illusion that it is all about sex.
Reply:i think that people who run around having sex with everone r complete retards and they MAY not realize it but they r throughing their lives away! they could have so much in their future yet with the road they are traveling their future will we raising babies and flippen burgers at mcdonalds trying to support them! not to mention they will be a SINGLE parent! three weeks! pah. that is stupid! dont throw your life away! god bless you!
Reply:It's different for every generation. Did you ever hear about the flappers in the 20's? No? Probably because the people in the 50's struck that from the records. What about the 60's love? People have been going at it like mammals for a long time. It's just now that you're getting older you're getting more exposed to it.

Reply:I am an 18 year old male and I know exactly what your saying. It sucks. Teenagers are obsessed with this now. I don' even agree with having sex if you think you love each other. Sex is ment to be done in the bondage of marriage, nothing less, no matter how you feel about someone. This stuff isn't said like this for no reason either. This would prevent STD's, getting pregnant too young, and messed up emotions. Now days (even with adults) relationships aren't about finding someone to get married with and raise some good kids with, it's about sex. There is no longer any pride in good morals or down home roots. Being humble is but a speck in the rear view mirror. It is sad and it is too bad.

I.E: Birth control not the pill to unreiable for forgetful teenager.

Reply:I totally agree. I am a rare breed by staying a virgin all through highschool but I wanted to respect the person in the future that I truely fell in love with. And there was so much pressure that I avoided parties and outings after a dance because that is what it usually led to.
Reply:dude, its a choice that u need to make... im 19 and havent had sex. I have loved some one with all of my heart and we are waiting until we get married... again its a personal chocice dont do it cause every one else is
