what are the sideaffects of antidepressants for teens? are there any personality changes/mood swings?

i have had to put many on meds and don't be afraid to go and talk to your Dr if you are in need of them
Reply:They can be helpful as long as the person is fully evaluated and truly needs them. They must be used with therapy.
Reply:The most important side effect is that you get used and addicted to them. Imagine you should always get them, if not, you would feel very sick, dizzy, suicidal, wanting to kill yourself.
And if you can't stop taking them, in the end, your liver will get the cirrhosis, and you could die from it, intoxicated by the flow of medication for the rest of your life.
I would never recommend a teen to go on medication, it's a crime. Some doctors recommend it, because they don't realize the bad future waiting that person, they only see the present comfort. I dare say that they are narrow-minded.
