What is considered going too far at the age of 13 nearing 14?


And is it right for teens to date that young?

I think the age when an individual starts dating really depends on the person. If you feel you are ready you probably are. One of my friends started dating a girl when he was in middle school and now at age twenty they are getting married.


As to how far to go physically...I think if you have to ask yourself if it is too far, it is too far. Hope this helps : )

Reply:No it's not right for teens to be dating at that age. They have all or more of the hormones and not enough brains or courage to know what is right. Kids that age can't even drive a freaking car much less operate reproductive organs responsibly. We've all been out and about and seen kids this age making out and I personally think that if they had the maturity they would realize how bad this reflects on them. Whatever happened to slumberparties, swimming, riding bike, grabbing some food, rollerskating, and all these fun activities? I just can't imagine any parent that would allow this because I feel this is why teen pregnancy is so huge.

dating at 13/14 is ok. it's the times. but be careful. it depends on yourself. you have the right to say no when you don't feel like going further.

i think they are to young to date but kids started dating or saying "going out" in 5th grade and your what like 12





when i was in like 7th grade my one friend explained the whole oral thing to me i was like OMG...yea she has a baby in 9th grade too but who's saying that's bad right? lol

Reply:Okay if you are 13, you shouldn't go any farther than a kiss [no making out! that leads to other things], a hug, or hand holding. Because at that age, boys tend to get fresh and they will take it as far as they can go. That's when Y0U have to stop him, let him know that you're not comfortable. [unless you are?? lol]





I'm 16 and my dad still doesn't like when I talk about having guy friends. And I currently have a boyfriend of three months [today! aww yay!!] in which my dad doesn't know :( but momma does!!!

Reply:Gosh, I'm only 28...when I was 13 I may have had a "boyfriend" in school...but never did I go anywhere with them let alone do anything with them. I'm not that old but who knows what kids do now a days....
