Teens, how often do you think about parenthood?

When I was under 15, I used to think I was fit for parenthood in the future. But after that, I realized I have no tolerance for kids and its going to stay that way. Now I think about the childless lifestyle with more opportunities.

But teens, how often do think about parenthood or the childfree lifestyle? Do you fantasize about having a family with kids or just being you and your spouse?

PS: I don't tolerate harassment, annoyance, judging, or criticism too well, because I have a "sensitive blocking finger".

Teens, how often do you think about parenthood?
lol i don't like kids, unless they were my friend's or something. Me and my friends don't fantasize about parenthood *that* often but yeah I've thought of adopting a child. As a teenager we have stress, and now with advertisements nowadays about how being a teen with a child adds on more stress, I really don't want a kid. And I know a lot of people at my school who also don't want to get married. Being independent is fun, and I guess that's what most teens are aiming for.
Reply:I've thought about it a lot.

I mean A LOT.

of course, I have an enormous family.

I have around 15 2nd cousins alone.

I've been raised as a family type of girl...

so I intend on having a family. with kids.

I can understand where you're coming from though.

don't listen to anyone who talks shiit about it.

it's your decision. and unlike a lot of people, you know what you want and how you want to live your life. that's respectable.
Reply:I think every teen goes through that "OMG I want a Baby!" stage. I went through it at the beginning of the year. I wanted a baby because I thought it would be fun.

Now I want to get married to a hot guy, and wait about a year to have kids. We can enjoy just being with each other for a year, without morning sickness or cramps or anything like that.

I think everybody fantasizes. It all depends on the person and what they want in their life.
Reply:I am a teen parent. I am 18. Two months after I turned 17 I got pregnant and two months before I turned 18 I had my beautiful little girl. I could see my life no other way. I love my life just the way it is. It changed me. Parenthood is for some and isn't for others. I see no point in anyone judging you (if they do), because its your life.
Reply:I think about it alot. I even have names picked out for my kids! I don't want kids right now but i know i do sometime in the future. I don't wanna have kids until im out of college, married and have a good job so not until im atleast 28. But yeah i do think about having kids alot (=
Reply:im 17 and think about it a lot..in fact..i think about it so much i keep having this idea that i think about it too much and it wont happen..but..yea..im looking forward to it in the future..i already have names picked out and stuff...but thats mostly because i love names..
Reply:i think about it a lot i can't wait to have kids and a family of my own...

but i do know that now is not the right time but it is definitely something i know i want in the future.
Reply:I think about it a lot, hell, I have some names picked out already. XD

I love kids, and I come from a big family, so I'm used to being around them, I've built a... tolerance?
Reply:I'm 14. My Mom and Dad had me at 14, my mom died during child-birth. That's all the facts i need.

Now when I'm older i want to have kids, i love them, especially little kids.
Reply:Im 15 and I want 5 or 6 kids

ive already got their names picked out

honestly recently ive thought about it a lot

im not sure why

i want to get married around 24 and then start a family about 28-30
Reply:A lot, I can't wait to be a mum. However I'm only 13 and want to wait until I'm around late 20s/early 30s. I want a big family, 3 or 4 children; I have done since I was about 5 years old!
Reply:Well, I think about it enough. Some day I want to become a parent (when I am married and have a steady job).

Just like the first answer I already have some names picked out.
Reply:i think it will be my husband and me for the first 2 years and then i will have a few kids and live happy
