Teens and protected sex?

how are kids/teens buying condoms and the pill without parents knowing? i mean, the ones under 16 cant drive to doctor's or stores. thanks.

Teens and protected sex?
I buy condoms at CVS. I was buying condoms there since I was 11.
Reply:you don't need to drive to the doctor or the shops usually and even if you did theres buses and taxis for that. it's really not that hard...
Reply:When I was 15, I walked for 1.5 hours IN THE RAIN on a busy highway to a planned parenthood. I got there and they were so nice to me since I was soaked to my skin with water. The one lady gave me $20 for a cab ride home, it was sweet. And since I was under 18 at the time, they also gave me free birth control pills.
Reply:r u planning ur purchase? lol. even if there not 18 ne1 can buy them at the drug store and the pills girls get for free from planned parenthood.
Reply:we can walk to the store, take a taxi, or ussually mom mom drops me and my friends off at the store and picks us up later, i am 14, and some of the girls at my school got other girls condoms as christmas gifts. i am in no way sexually active, nor have even kissed a boy, and i dont plan on having sex until i am married, but i think that its a good thing that the girls who are having sex can and do get protection.
Reply:Under 16s can go into stores and buy condoms, theres no age limit. They would rather have kids havign sex protected then unprotected because at the end of the day you cant stop them. And they sell condoms in public toilets aswell.
Reply:Their age doesn't stop them from simply walking to a store, ya know. And the stores in my neighborhood don't even ask ur age, they just let you buy whatever you want. You just gotta trust the kids to do the right thing.

And it's not like our parents stopped doing it after we were born, they've got sum in their cabinets I'm sure. All te kids have to do is give it a good look through.
Reply:why do you want to know
Reply:Probably why a lot of kids under 16 are poppin' out kids these days...
Reply:Some schools have school-based clinics.

So, they can get it at school without parent being told.
Reply:omg i can't stand that and those little idiots of teen lose there lives for a kid they can;t Handel and the worst part is they are kids taking care of kids. and why can't they keep there legs close
Reply:some of them sneak it and some parent know about it ,at least there using protection?
Reply:When i was 14/15/

i was just going into a chemist and buying them bascially!
Reply:Condoms can be gotten almost anywhere these days, they're easy to get. The pill is given out by some schools by the school nurse, just to keep teen pregnancies down.

Just as well, it's VERY hard to lock daughters up in tall towers any more...
Reply:ummm well i live in ontario and i've been buying condoms since i was 14...we have drug stores everywhere within walking distance//in the mall =S i've never been asked for id or anything. my mom wanted to know why i had a box of condoms and i told her it was for a party and we were gunna blow them up and draw faces on them. LOL well i dunno if she bought it. (i wasn't even using them at the time, i lost my virginity later) and to get the pill, your parents have to know unless ur 16...but if insurance covers it, it will show up there. The morning after pill costs $40, and you don't need any parent consent, you have to go to the pharmacy and fill out a form, pay, and that's it. You can get that at any age where you are able to give birth (usually age 12) but i'm sure most parents know if their child is having sex or not. there are clues...obvious ones are actually finding condoms/pills or if they overhear their kid talking to friends. My mother was a SNOOP when I was 14-15 and she found a lot but being a normal teenager, i tried to cover it up...i think it has to do with denial too...parents don't want their kids having sex but hey...**** happens. Also....kids buy it to seem "cool" - they will come to school with a condom and say they had sex last night... just to get attention. They may buy them to be safe in case something happens-they may never use them, but it's better to be safe than sorry. If it's really a concern..talk to your kids about it. just don't freak out if they're having sex...just be sure they have protection always, cuz face it....we're never gunna be able to hide sex from kids. they're doing it everywhere....not necessarily in your house. just ask about it and support them, teach them the consequences of sex....pregnancy....std's, etc...and hopefully they'll be honest with you.
Reply:they make friends w/ ppl who are 16+and have them buy it for them
