Teens acting like adults?

I hate it when teens act like adults by having sex, wanting to have kids, skipping school. does anyone else think this is bad/annoying.





PS. i also hate it when 16 year olds act like ganstas

Teens acting like adults?
Well sometimes I act like an adult because I'm put in adult situations and feel I need to protect myself or because I'm around childish adults and feel like I'm the only mature person there. And most time I do get in trouble because sometimes I act like I know more or act disrespectfully. I guess that's something I need to deal with.





But when it comes to teenagers thinking that their old enough to have sex, babies, and do drugs...that's just beyond the word stupid.





But you can't always blame it all on the kids, sometimes they act that way for a reason. Believe me I've been around plenty. The parents aren't that responsible, they don't watch after their kids or even care what happens to them. They feel like their unloved...at least that's how I felt.





Their parents didn't give them the knowledge they needed to know or tell them what's wrong from right and that's why they act out. Growing up in a neighborhood that deals with these things all the time is not new. I wish people would stop judging the teens and take a look at the parents.

Now that's just ignorance talking. First of all...Ganstas? Hm, last time I checked that's not the way you spell it. It's actually Gangstas thank you very much. And finally, why dose it have to be 16- year-olds? That's also sterotyping. You didn't put 'some' or 'few', you put it as if you mean 'all 16-year-olds.'





Obviously, you have no idea why we act the way we act most times. Most of us are confused and lonely. All we need is someone to say they're there for us.
Reply:some people cant help growing up to fast......i wish i didn't but i did... my parents split up and were having a mid life crisis and ignored us children my mother said to me when i was 15 years old i had to get a job and pay rent other wise id have to move out.. so at age 16 i got a job earning 2grand a month after tax and moved into a flat on my own it was a bit of a struggle at first but I'm doing heaps well now I'm living with my partner..I'm nearly 18 now and 5 months pregnant and couldn't be happier!!!!!

Teens aren't acting like adults, theyre just going along with it. i dunno if you know this but the gangstas, even the 13 year olds, are about 6 foot three, do drugs, beat eachother up, graffiti ect. I'd avoid them just as well as any 30 year old gangster. Wanting to have kids is just emotional longing. Skipping school is for retards, and having sex isnt acting like an adult, it's natural. think about it, back in the stone age we lived to be about 20 years old, think about it.

They say practice what you preach, but I'm guilty. I still think it's dumb though when I look at it from the big picture.

i am 20 y/o.. i had gf, when i was 18.. i was a irgin till 18.. yes, i do smoke and drink starting from 15.. but i am not desperate you know.. i enjoy my teens life, with playing bike, playstation or hanging out checkin gals out.. or sports!





like last week, i was at this party and i saw my friends small sis, she is around 12 y/o.. she wear backless, without bra, or maybe without panties too (it was at the wedding).. can you believe this, they come to wedding to hunt men.. feeling all horny.. that turns me off!

i was horny at teens, everybody knows that, but we can have a masturbate right?? i mean why sex?? and afterwards they jump into this adult life immeadietly, i pity them sometimes, but well teens this generation are so ******* horny and immature, let them suffer the consequences!

Reply:What's even worse is 11-year-olds acting like that. But, yeah, those kinda people really bug me. They can cut into your self-esteem alot and make you feel very childish and stupid. The best thing you can do is ignore them, though.

Reply:1st of all having sex is not an ault thing all the way, ( people had sex waay back in late 1800 early 1900's at 13 so i highly doubt that it can change into bieng labled as "adult play") and they stil do in other countries today but they dont lable it as adult.





2cnd some teens act like adults because theyr tired of bieng treated like little 5yrs (even though some do act like kids)





3rd its natural if they want to have kids or not, even though it mayb the wrong decision for some but who are you to decide whether its right or wrong.





and why are you labeling that ALL teens act like this?? stop stereotyping and groupin us together with the bad apples.





and it shouldnt matter whether wat age they are when they act like gangsta's. its annoying at ANY age whoever acts like that.

although im only 15 (will be 16 in 2 weeks) I feel like people at my school and for this matter all the other teens I know are having sex and drinking coffee and talking about adult stuff. It's ridiculus because we're kids, and we should get to enjoy life as kids first, before thinking about birth control and careers and cars and all that.


So not all teens are like that.

Reply:i agree, except for one part. the urge to have sex is a natural part of the human body. it is natural for the "urge" to occur in teens, thus by acting on these urges they are only following how their bodies are made. only, it has now become taboo in today's culture to have sex while a teen. back in time it was normal for teens to have sex





now, whether you believe in evolution, or in god, we, humans are made a specific way, for a specific reason, our bodies function a certain way for a certain reason. we have two eyes for a reason, toes, feet, etc etc. so, naturally the human body creates testosterone in the teen years, for a reason





however, it is up to the teen(s) to practice safe sex.

Reply:How is skipping school acting like an adult? What they are doing is acting like kids because they are. They'll learn, you just have to ignore them or get in their face and tell him to knock it off. It's not difficult.

working, paying for my own car, renting an apartment right


out of high school. i want to be able to support myself and be


successful because with ten people living in one home budgets


are tight. especially when they are younger kids.
