Your future is at risk so you should be involved in the solutions.

What answers do teens have to change the tide of mindless violence. (besides giving everyone assult weapons)

What can teens do to stop teen violence?
how would giving everyone weapons help stop violence...

teens can help by just not being part of violence.

don't pick fights.

you can't change the way people will fight, they have to make that decision on their own.
Reply:Remember to take their pills, and stop acting like gangstas. Simple as that.
Reply:I think we need a heavier dose of political indoctrination.

None of this "If it feels right, do it!" crap. Then again, I'm probably the most conservative person at school...
Reply:get them anger management
Reply:Give everyone assault weapons?!

That would be PROMOTING teen violence.
Reply:Stop being violent. Seriously though, unfortunately you cannot stop some else, only yourself. If each teen took it upon themselves to not be violent, the issue would recede.

It certainly sounds like your one less teen to worry about. Thank You and God Bless
Reply:Providing weapons will only encourage violence.

One cannot stop others from behaving violently. But, one can control themselves and try to help their friends find alternative means to express their anger. One very important key to a teen learning other means of expressing anger is for parents to show them other ways during childhood. But, not all teens will carry that into their lives as many are influenced by others. To some teens, it's "cool" to get into fights, to be a part of a gang, to steal, etc.
Reply:We can begin by remembering back to those preschool lessons on respect and how to get along with others.
