Teens who want babies why not get a pet first?

Why would they want a child now when they have at least 30 years for that?


For those of you that want one, have you even looked after a baby full care alone 24/7?





Please instead of having a child why not a pet?


A dog is perfect for practice parenting





I'm sick of seeing alot of teenagers around and proud to be pregnant %26amp; being a mother, its nothing to be proud of, no ones going to think good on you for ruining your life,





and how many young couple teens with babies these days would actually make it to old age together? i dont think many will.

You think raising a baby and taking care of a dog are close to the same? I'm not pregnant, nor have a child, but it's what I want in life (look at the profile), but I know I'm not in the best place in life to have one. Once again, it's in the profile. But I have taken care of a baby alone for a weekend, and while it was rewarding, I don't have the ability to go out and do it all day, every day like I would've liked to. And it was nothing like a dog. A child requires non-stop attention, whereas all you have to do with a dog is give it food and water, and it takes care of itself for the most part. You don't have to teach a dog how to not hit others, or to be kind, etc. And why would you try to discourage those who have already made the mistake? If they're already having the baby, or have one, shouldn't we be encouraging them to be a good mom, not saying "you ruined your life" and shouldn't be proud of your baby?





Defend the dog case all you want. While I put it in the simplest terms, sure you have to bathe it and train it, and take care of the other ****, but it will never be the same as having a baby to take care of. At all. So defend it all you want, it is nothing like raising a child for 18 years, since you can leave the dog alone for hours at a time to take a nap, or go to the store, things like that. Your whole life doesn't become about a dog. It does when you have a kid though. But I see your point with the sentences teen mothers say, and how it could affect girls that aren't smart enough to think on their own.

Some of those girls are sluts and have nothing better to do than have sex with their boyfriends.
