Silly teens!?

I get a kick out of it when someone posts a question that contradicts a previous question they asked. For example, when they change their age, sex, life situation in general, etc. The person ALWAYS tries to cover for it by saying they let their "friend" post under their account too so it was this “friend” asking the previous questions.





Don't these silly teens understand that we adults are not buying the "friend" story? It takes all of 60 seconds to create your own Yahoo account. And you expect us to believe you allow your "friend" to have your password and therefore access to all of your other Yahoo accounts, including your e-mail? Give me a break. Admit when you're busted and move on. Or just stop posting questions that contradict themselves and proving to everyone how immature you are. I don’t understand why so many teens post in this section anyway because it’s supposed to be the “PARENTING of Adolescents” forum, not the “Adolescents” forum.

Miss Cyran, Dude. By your "rationale" then the newborn and baby section is for acutal newborns and babies.

We know it's for parents of adolescents because PARENTING AND PREGNANCY is the MAIN category. Adolescents is the sub category. Reading being a very important skill and all.





To clarify further, I'll give you another example. Under the DINING OUT category, are a bunch of subcategories, one being Brazil. Now if I went in there and started talking about the culture and politics of Brazil, I'd be in the wrong place. Right? Stay with me here. I'd need to get out of the dining section altogether and find something more appropriate.

I like the ones who honestly believe that it's okay to post in parenting and pregnancy because of the invaluable insight they are offering us parents into the minds of adolescents.

Reply:I'm glad to see more of these questions these days here. Just yesterday there was a similar question asked and one of the responses was along the lines of how the adolescent category was for adolescents not parents and blah blah blah. No! Is it that hard to read?





Anyway, some questions are fine. But again others are such trash. And I'm with you all the way on the trolls. There's another one on here saying triplets share the same account so that'll explain any incongruities in their answers. Words fail me. Does anybody at all actually buy this?

Reply:I have often wondered why some of the teens are so silly in the way that you describe. I guess they are just immature and that's the way it is.





Some teens do offer some good insight though. I have a daughter that will be a teen in a few years and I like to read some real questions and answers to see some of the things I can expect.





Just wish the kids that just want to goof off would stay away, but it is not in my power to do anything about it, so I just ignore it.
Reply:Maybe their friends wanna keep it confidential so they don't use their own accout. That's a very confidential way cause nobody knows who it really is.
Reply:I asked a question about a real friend that was in a serious relationship with a 32 year old man while the friend is my age.
