TEENS only please.....?

Does it bother you when you go out and your mom asks you to call when you get there? How about if she asks you "how was your night? when you get home.


My girl is 16 and I was just wondering how other teens feel about it. PLEASE be honest...Thank you!

It bothers me if those are the only questions I get about my time out. It makes it seem like you're being interrogated and not trusted. I don't mind calling when I get somewhere though. It all depends on how you ask.
Reply:my mom does the same thing with me, it gets annoying, and my dad is overly protective of me and makes it a big deal if a guy even tries to hold my hand.
Reply:it can get on our nerves sometimes expecially if we forget and you freak out and say that we just didn't want to do it. i dont mind anymore cuz im used to doing it, but maybe tell her to text you so its less embarrassing on her, if thats how she feels

Reply:I dont mind them to ask me every now and then, but if it becomes a constant thing it gets alittle irritable.





I like my parents to be alittle bit curious about my life but not completely nosy, I suggest you give her some space every now and then.
Reply:well my mom is the same way and I'm 17 going on 18 next month you need to know that your little girl ain't that little no more and she is growing up you need to give her ,her space
Reply:yes, my dad is always like that. Ill have a great nite out and come home on time and everything and he just says hi or looks at me or whatever and it just pisses me off. idk why, but hopefully you dont piss off your kid like that. Also it can get kind of embarresing to call ur ma during chillin with ur friends or wateva. If shes16 shell have her divers licences soon enuf. Try not to get her mad , she mite consider not coming back. Sorri if that sounds harsh...... good luck wid ur teen

Reply:Ok I'm 17 and my mom makes me call her everytime I leave to go somewhere....so yesterday I went bowling with some friends, then to a resturant, then a friends house and then the park....well I didn't call her at all, and she totally freaked. It sucked. But most of the time it don't bother me, because I lost to friends in car accidents so I know that she just wants to make sure that I get to places safe...but it does bother me when i forget and she gets mad...


Your second question..."how was your night." That one doesn't bother me at all, but I guess some kids could think that you were trying to accuse them of doing something wrong when they wern't...which could make them mad.
