Teens, how old are you and how old do you feel?

Im a 17 year old girl and and feel more 15 or 16. Is this a bad thing?


My best friend is 15. We are together all the time and she is my cousin.


I am very mature at times, but yet when im with friends I feel like im in my middle teens yet.


I live in a state where its legal to get into bars soon and I don't even see myself in bars.


I also look only 15 and that could play a part. There are girl 3 or 4 years younger than me that also look older.

Reply:im 15 and i feel 15 i really feel no different them i did when i was 13 or 14....ppl say i look different ages some say 13 or 14 cuz im short and petite...some say my age 15 so i guess i look my age

Reply:I am a 13 year old but i look about 10. which sucks because i am older than my friend by half a year but when we were trying to get into a PG-13 movie the lady looked suspicious of me and asked how old i was. i said i was 13 but she didn't believe me. I had to show my school ID just to get her to believe me!!! that really sucked.





I feel like i am still 12 since i only turned 13 in january and i dont really have alot of clothes from the teen section of stores since i am so small. in size and height. If i find clothes that i like in the teen section they are always a small and all my friends wear mediums. also some of the clothes dont look right on me because if the shirt was made to be cut short and not be longer than my mid drift it would be at my waist. also it doesn't help that i totally lack curves of any kind.





I really dont like it when i look younger than i actually am. my friends act like it is a good thing saying stuff like at least when your older you can hide your true age...or something like that. but oh well its not like i can force mself to change...

Im 17 but feeling much older at the moment. I seem to be gorwing up way quicker than any of my friends. Im 7 weeks pregnant and in a long term relationship. I dont go out drinking or smoke or do any drugs. And i dont really do anything thats teen like any more. I dont look as old as i am though i only look about 15. =[. =] xxx
Reply:im 16, sometime si feel like im older like about 25 or 30, and sometimes i feel younger like about 10 or 11. dont ask what causes this, i have no idea. and everyone says i look about 22 to 25 years old

Reply:I'm 15. I probably look like I'm 17. It changes from between feeling like I'm 18 to feeling like I'm 30. It just depends on my mood. I never feel like my age or younger, because I generally act more mature.

I'm 13, look like I'm 13 (some people say older, some say younger, I'm mature enough to be about 16 (people have told me that on this website), but sometimes I act like I'm 6 and other times I act like I'm 18. So, it varries :D

The oldest I've ever been mistaken for was 17.


Lets just say I don't look 12.

This probably has to do with the fact that I'm already a freshman and actually not a weirdo... But that's how I feel. I've always felt older. And it helps that I look a little older too.
Reply:I am 17 years old. When I hang out with my brothers I feel like I am 18. When I hang out with my boyfriend, I feel like I am 17. When I hang out with my sister, I feel like I am 5 and I like it. When I hang out with my parents, I feel like I am 25. When I hang out with my daughter, I feel like I am 45!!! It all just depends who I hang out with. I think I look like I am 17 though, if not definitely somewhere around my age. ♥
